I just found this story and wanted to say how well written it was! I love the parental Roy and Riza!

How come Ed didn't use alchemy to curb-stomp Archer? A quick clap-slap from him could send the Lt-Col flying, couldn't it?

I never liked Archer and was incredibly happy to watch the d-bag die in either the 2003 series or CoS, I don't remember which. Thanks for reminding me how much deserves to be sent straight to Crowley! Not that that would do much, as Crowley's growing rather...soft.

This was really good. Even though Archer was just an insert character, I like the connection made with Brotherhood for those of us who watched FMA 2003. And by the end of 2003, he was driven mad...so I think he could have been easily with his love of war.

I think my main thing with this fic were the flame alchemy books as flame alchemy was never written on paper and is only known by Roy and his master who is now dead. Flame alchemy is so powerful and a huge secret, the "notes" were actually destroyed. Not sure if you've seen that far into the series yet though since you're relatively new to the fandom it seems from your A/N so I won't spoil it if you haven't. I know I screamed when I read it in the manga years ago in sheer delight and shock and happiness. Haha

Also, I love how you have Grumman addressing Riza as granddaughter. It's rarely seen in any fic how they would react to seeing each other since their relationship would be fairly new. I always felt there would be more than just the professional aspect between them given how long they've been estranged due to Riza's parents. And Grumman is such a cute old man. It only makes sense he would make a fuss over her.

That was great! I really liked the blend of the two continuities. Very enjoyable read. Slight plot hole of Roy having, and lending any books on Flame Alchemy given how him and Riza want to make sure they're the last ones to know it's secrets, but it was easily ignored.

AH! SO GOOD! SO GOOD! I loved it to every single punctuation. It was flawless. I mean when I write, it just goes to hell. But man oh man, this is good. I just love parental royed stories, and this is just another brilliantly written one on my list of rereads for later. I love this and I love you for writing it!
