Hades Lord of the Dead chapter 6 . 7/22 Beautiful fic and really, dare I say it, fascinating. I love when people delve more deeply into those differences between species, and love reading the crews' discussions of it all - it really makes it clear how high level they all are to serve on the Starfleet flagship. Thanks for sharing! |
BenRG chapter 6 . 4/17 Being the white hats is hard. It would be so much simpler if the broadly-accepted human legal and ethical code would have looked the other way if Jim had just had the smugglers' ship vented to hard vacuum and 'all hands lost in the accident'. Of course, that's the problem of being Lawful Good; simple solutions are never enough and CAN'T be enough. |
Owyheewinds chapter 6 . 4/6/2017 Wow. Very well done. Please do some more writing! |
Owyheewinds chapter 5 . 4/6/2017 Ingenious! |
Owyheewinds chapter 3 . 4/6/2017 I loved the linguistics lesson! |
Owyheewinds chapter 2 . 4/6/2017 Very cool and well done! |
Trista 3 chapter 1 . 4/4/2017 Chapter 6 was my favorite! Bones was emotionally upset and Spock was able to help him by letting him forget the anger and frustration! |
Krisarna chapter 1 . 2/19/2017 Excellent characterisation, I really captured them well, Spock in particular. I completely agree that his Vulcan upbringing would be a disadvantage in reading emotional states. Not only would he have not have had much practice, but his culture would have discouraged it. It would go against his nature. |
Guest chapter 6 . 2/3/2017 Excellent story. I really enjoy how you wove each trait/superpower smoothly into a suspenseful story. Thanks for such good writing and sharing with us. |
Dragonfire100 chapter 6 . 1/20/2017 I enjoyed this, thanks for sharing |
Alienigena chapter 6 . 1/17/2017 I absolutely loved your fic! It was so well-written and in-character... My favorite chapters are the 4th, 5th and 6th (it's hard to tell which is the best). I liked the first ones (the 3rd one was a bit hard to understand as English isn't my native language - I apologise for the mistakes...) but the 4th and 5th explain Vulcan specificities based on the biology and I find it fascinating. The fact that Spock can't focus on a single sound or doesn't have the same number of receptor on the tongue are great ideas in my opinon. I don't know it you invented it or if it's Star Trek canon, but from now it has become my headcanon as well... And the 6th chapter was brilliant. I love the interaction between Bones and Spock (my two favorite characters) and the psychological analysis is really interesting and so spot-on. And the "forget", of course... Oh, my heart... Thank you so much for sharing! I'm going to read your other fics as soon as possible. |
ladybrit chapter 5 . 1/16/2017 I enjoyed reading of Spock's discoveries. Interesting compilation. |
ladybrit chapter 4 . 1/16/2017 Another interesting chapter - I am enjoying this series of human "superpowers". I think I had realized that this one existed - and it is one that fades a little with age! |
ladybrit chapter 3 . 1/16/2017 I found this chapter a little confusing at first - but the more I thought about it - the clearer it became - linguistics is a totally new concept to me and I looked a few things up - now I am interested in the subject. Thanks. |
