Poor Beast Boy, chained down by the ghosts of the past. It is not something that you can just get over but with Raven by his side, hopefully those scars will heal. The fact he was finally able to talk about it with Raven is the first and biggest step. I think things will be better forth the both of them from now on. Less worrying for Raven and maybe less nightmares for Beast Boy.

Interesting, did Beast Boy to an alternate universe? I feel like after not finding a way to bring back Raven in his world, he went to a parallel world where he was dead. Is this the injustice universe perhaps, where Beast Boy died?

Well, I am not sure what has happened, but I can tell Beast Boy is going to do his best to make things better going forward.

This makes me wonder who Raven thought was on the guest list if one of the members of the team showing up to a dinner party is a big surprise. I wonder how much Alice knows. I feel like this is some kind of setup. Like she observed the newspapers and Raven's body language when talking about her friends and made an executive decision. I am suddenly sad that the party itself is not apart of this story.

So here is the actually AU snippet. I had a hard time telling at first. When the husband thing was brought up the first time, I thought the two were undercover in on a mission. Then it became clear this was an AU when talks about Queens and soldiers came into play. The fact that the story follows the plot of the comics made it hard to tell.

It is obvious the two care about each other quite a bit, both voices concern about the other, but it is clear they haven't had much interaction yet either, since they are also pretty guarded around each other.

I can understand the TBC at the end, since this is a solid start point for a potential story.

We got me again. I was not expecting everything to be an elaborate plan to get some alone time with Raven. I makes me curious to learn more about how Beast Boy is assigned to better understand why so much work is needed for Beast Boy and Raven to spend time together. The school itself is a great idea and I can easily see why Raven would be supportive of a system to help people like her learn to control their powers and have a chance for a normal life like everyone else.

I had to laugh that Beast Boy had to use the emergency call function to get Raven to come over. Beast Boy can't be on the job 24/7, that would be impossible and Raven should have evenings off once school is out and other prep work is done. I feel the two of them would be more productive if they were able to see each other so often.

You are doing a real good job about keeping me guessing about what is going on. It was cute seeing how much of a calming effect Beast Boy's voice has on Raven. My first thought was the Other might have been Raven's demon side or something like that. Not knowing how much time has passed, I also thought that the conversation Raven wanted to have with Beast Boy would be about being more intimate.

Starting on the hamster and potentially getting a cat later. At first I thought Raven just might not want to have a cat, maybe being compared to a grumpy cat or something. I was also wondering if this would be their first pet at first.

I really wasn't expecting Raven to be pregnant already. Her daughter I feel its going to be very smart if she is already aware of her surroundings to some extent. Already reacting to her father's presence and to the potential pet names. The store clerk is also quite sharp, able to notice Raven's condition.

You could have ended it there, but you went the extra mine with a bit more. I think it is cute that Chaaya wants to follow her father around everywhere. I am assume she has Raven's empathy and enjoys basking in her father's emotions. I feel Raven can only blame herself for getting Chaaya addicted. Of course if Chaaya is acting like this 20 years from now, Raven can be concerned then. Of course they got a cat after and named it Mister Buttons.

I am still behind of BBrae week stories, but I wonder if you are the only one to interpret the pet name theme this way.

We got me with this prompt. I had no idea what was going on as I was reading this. At first I thought this was an AU with a normal Beast Boy and Raven, with Beast Boy and Raven not formally meeting yet. Then it became clear that this was the normal universe in the future at some point, and that Raven and Beast Boy had been in a relationship that didn't work out.

Then Beast Boy made me think that the one guy was Raven's date when Cyborg came over. Boy that guy was a sleazebag. It became clear when Raven approached they hadn't met before and he was just trying to enact his sleazy plan. With the tension between the two, I was not expecting the pair to get it on in the kitchen. It made me really confused about there status and what everyone is doing right now. Honestly since Robin and Starfire weren't part of this prompt, I originally thought one of those two might have died.

Hard to say if this is a happy ending, but the two will be getting happy ending in another way. I am so confused at their relationship at the end of this.

Okay so why do you have to write such beautiful pieces that make my little heart explode with emotion? Loved them, of course, like always! Each one is so unique, and the story is so well told. i think you do a very good job of capturing the struggles of these two, and how they help each other through them

And then they say Gar and Raven are "polar opposites". Change them around in this beautiful story and it will remain just as moving.

Oh my heart! I'm clueless about the Injustice universe but I don't need to know. No matter the reality they are in, they're destined to be together.

Hahaha go Aunt Alice! We all know how Raven hates surprises and how adorable she is when she gets all flustered because of them!

I would really love to see this once you start on it. It's a wonderful idea, and I was always a sucker for medieval AUs!

I don't think Raven should be surprised that Garfield pulled such a stunt by now. But it's good to know he still has the magic.
