Lol, i had a heart attack when I read the beginning of your author's note.. lmao, I almost clicked out until I realized there was an epilogue attached. :] Great story. I especially loved the part where Kai's face paint washed off, it's a rebirth of sorts for him and I thought that was extremely clever and well written on your part.
