Hazmatt chapter 1 . 7/30/2013 Great story! I enjoyed it! |
DustyTowers chapter 1 . 12/20/2009 Hehe, loved this. The line about Carter being 'numerical flypaper' really cracked me up. I like your take on S&J;, it seems very real in terms of their behaviour and emotions - very restrained, but with tangible depth. Fab stuff! |
Jack chapter 1 . 8/25/2009 I really liked this! |
queenopy chapter 1 . 2/23/2007 Great story. Good writing. The atmosphere is really captivating, it has a slow pace and I especially like the pensive quietness of the moment with a bit of nostalgia and time passing by. I particularly love your characterization of both O'Neill and Carter, everything looks exquisitively real-life. Very compelling study of characters. |
Anonymous chapter 1 . 12/3/2004 Awesome story. Very creative, and you've nailed the characters. |
Jessie88 chapter 1 . 11/15/2004 "Besides, he thought, eyes still trained to Carter's flashlight beam at the edge of the nearby forest because it was the closest he could get to looking after her, it would probably be rude to be thinking deep thoughts anyway while one of his teammates was puking her guts out." Heehee! I love that line! I loved the part flashbacks with Sara, and how well you dealt with how Jack would deal with such a shift in his life. Masterfully well-written, this was just a great story! I love how you did the sweet S/J ship in there- so perfectly in character. :) |
MillionMoments chapter 1 . 9/17/2004 Very nice fic! Keep up the good work! |
jessmerrick chapter 1 . 9/16/2004 That was really good. Except, in Ascension Orlin tells us Sam's birthday is in May. |
Lt Colonel Samantha Carter chapter 1 . 6/15/2004 Excellent. Brilliant. I really, really enjoyed it. If you need their birtdays, just yell! |
SG1-Fanfic chapter 1 . 6/14/2004 great story! |
Qwi-Xux chapter 1 . 4/23/2004 I really, really enjoyed this fic. You kept Jack and Sam in character so well (I just loved Sam making a face at the end while she said 'Happy birthday...Jack,' trying to say it because it was tradition, but feeling weird about calling him Jack. ;)) It was nice to see Jack reminiscing about his life...and it was done with a perfect balance of seriousness and humor. It was also fitting, I think, that you said Sam has a weak stomach-LOL, it's one thing she's not perfect in. ;) Poor woman, though-throwing up is the pits. Anyway, kudos! Fantastic job! Loved it! |
Pheral chapter 1 . 4/7/2004 excellent fic! high feel-good factor, perfect characterisation, and the ship didnt even bother me cos it was pretty much cannon (fodder). this fic was recommended on an egroup, thought you should know. thats how i ended up here. ;) Keep a-writing. |
thedorkygirl chapter 1 . 3/24/2004 That was awesome - especially the "anti-climatic" bit about the whole thing. You are so darn in-character that I'm seriously thinking about awarding you a special "medal-o'-karen" or something. :-) |
cripeswolfdee chapter 1 . 3/12/2004 Little Red...this is the reason you are on my author alert list. you have a gift, a real talent. i love your details, your describtions. the story made me laugh at parts, and i almost cried at how sweet it was. Thank you Little Red, for yet another amazing story. keep it up! |
Mara Jade Jedi chapter 1 . 3/12/2004 Great little fic, beautifully written! Well done! :D |
