I loved it, a marvellous peice of writing. I especially loved the ending. Though I must say that there seems to be a couple of chapter missing - because there is a rather big jump of where James and Jack got injured and became so close, as well as what happened to the pirates, and do we ever find out about Jacks past as James wanted to find out. This is a good story. Although, there seems to be a chapter or two missing, as to how James have been injured and who really was behind the attacks. In any case, I have had a lot of smiles reading this.

I don't know if you'll answer this almost a year after the story was finished. This is an excellent piece of writing with both of the main characters well rounded and well written. However, I don't know if it is true or not but there appears to be a chapter missing. The story jumps from Jack finding some crucial information in Tortuga to James suddenly waking up from a critical injury. Given the way the chapters have flowed from one to the next throughout the story this gap seems a little odd to me. Anyway kudos for a well written story.

What a lovely surprise! I just saw that my last review was written a year ago to the exact date ;) And to my utter shame I can't remember what happened in this story... But the new chapter was great despite this. I still love your style and they way you portray the lovable commodore and pirate. Nice and playful but still with some serious character exploration.

I love love LOVE this story! You had me hooked from the moment James and Jack fenced with each other! I also love how you are nautically informed which only enriches this story's plot! I also love how you incorporate other facets of the characters that weren't necessarily seen in the movies (Swann's sly intelligence, James teaching Will swordsmanship, Jack's education, etc.) The only thing I am terribly disappointed about this story is that there is no more! So please, keep on writing because this is a story I'll definitely be keeping an eye on! :)

What is going to happen next? I can see Jack as a privateer. Please update ASAP.
