God that was great! I have to be honest, at first it was mushy of Kurama to blurt out his undying love, but...damn! That last part rocked my world! I love you right now!

ooh! I like this. The whole 'Hiei comes back from the Makai and Kurama confesses his love' thing is overdone, but you managed to find an air of originality in it that made the used idea worth rereading.

I love how Kurama just acted on instict-so elated that Hiei had returned that he just told him everything without thinking.

Hiei's reaction was also really nicely done. Usually either he breaks down and admits his love too, or he completely rejects Kurama. The kind of *shrug* 'Ok, sure.' thing was very cool, and when I think about it very what I would expect from Hiei.
