Aww, poor Malcom. Trip's such a sweetheart, though. My favorite line was: "You're afraid of drowning," Trip corrected. "And you can't drown as long as I'm here. So climb in already. I'm not going to let you be scared forever."

Well done, thanks for sharing that. I like Trip when he is being reasuring, and Malcolm doesn't get to be vunerable that often so its nice to see.

And it's still a platonic friendship story. Trust me.

That was wonderful. Simply wonderful. The emotion, the characters thoughts, and everything were perfect. There was not a false moment in it. The story flowed very well.

The end was also great, you have nothing to worry about there. Just try and give a couple more lines between the ending and any notes, it makes it a bit easier to read and follow.

Very well done. It still was a platonic friendship story. Very nicely handled.

I like to think of this as platonic, but anyway it's quite good. I especially like the beginning reference to the things neither of them want to talk about. I must admit that I did not catch any literature references. The ending was a little wobbly; I think it could have either been a little shorter or a little longer, but anyhow I like the story.

I really liked this. Mal and Trip were really believable and the "breaking point" idea really seemed plausible after season 3. Great job.

I think the ending fit just fine. Also a damn good story there, especially with Malcolm's mental comparisons between himself and Trip, and Stuart's behaviour on the boat... ooh, don't get me started *grr*
