I should just be happy Stephanie realized her mistake and asked Joe for another chance but he forgave her WAY too quickly. She even had the cajones to blame him working too much for her behavior!? It might be easier to forgive if she hadn't left him and shacked up with Ranger even if it was only for a few weeks! ?!

Love this! The best one shot I've ever read! I just can feel Joe and Steph's emotion. Even though it's not from Steph's pov, I can feel her emotion too. Her words, the way you describe everything-I can picture this happening. Thank you for this beautifully written one shot!

This was awesome! I loved it, and I thought that Joe was really in character. The part about having to arrest Santa also gave me a few laughs.

I'm new to fanfic so I just read this story. It was a great Cupcake story! I hope you write more.

Poor Joe! Hopefully, the lady who gave him the black eye apologizes. Joe is so sweet to help the kids with the snow fort. I can really see this.

I am a Cupcake and love a Joe and Steph ending. But, I am having trouble with this Steph. She is too cavalier about Joe. When she walked out on Joe, it felt like she was already having an affair with Ranger. (Of course this is true to character since Steph in the JE books was cheating on Joe.) The ending made it seem possible Steph will walk out on Joe again. Hopefully, this will not happen.

But still, a great story. Thanks for sharing!
