This seems plausible, for Viktor to take small, progressive steps so it does not seem so much of a shock when he finally asks Hermione to the dance.

One thing that doesn't seem quite right: I don't think they have movies in the wizarding world, so unless Viktor has muggle friends or relatives, or has visited muggle communities, it is unlikely that he would know of American film stereotypes. Also, "works on her work" sounds kind of redundant.

I like your writing style and grasp of Viktor's character. Would have been better if you wrote more.

I'm finding I've become a big fan of Viktor/Hermione lately, so a fic like this just plain makes me happy. It was both cute and believable and to me, that's a great accomplishment given it's a Viktor-centric story. I think the best thing about it is that it isn't overdone. Loved Viktor's thought process and the subtle vulnerability. Will be adding to my faves, pronto. _

Oh my gosh! That was amazing! It's like it really happened in the book! The only thing was that it ws hard to picture VIktor with out his accent. It's because, since it is from HIS perspective, that he would have an accent. That was the ONLY thing. Otherwise, I LOVED IT!

I like your (writing) style; there's somthing about it that is 'fresh' and brisk but still very personal. I like ppl who can write very little/few words (short stories) and still make their stories flow. Beautiful. I saw your other fics but i am not really a slash fan...i'm into draco/ginny though )...I'm going to read your fic, "Through the Son's Eyes " now, and if its slash...oh well! ) At first; when I saw this fic I thought it would be very odd (because I have never read any stories about the relationship between Victor and Hermoine); but it wasn't! It was different I must say , but at the same time, engrossing! )
