Thank you for this story. I always wanted them to verbalise their friendship from time to time. They went through so much together (admittedly, neither one was in the right for all of it). But Lister had a very good point. Rimmer is not the sort to be unthinkingly kind. All of his gestures mean just a little bit more because they took more to give. Thank you so much. :) When you're basically alone in space, sometimes you need a friend.

I like this a lot. It's pretty damn good, as far as Rimmerangst goes.

I can tell it's your first fic because soemtimes your grammar is a little loose (I'm one to talk) but I have seen some writers who treat punctuation like game of Pin The Tail On The Donkey, so I reckon it's an all-around good fic. I don't know whether or not you'll be updating, but it's cool nevertheless.

Aw I love cutesy Rimmer/Lister pre-slash moments (I'm not much of a slasher myself). This was a really well written little fic which got across Rimmer's jealousy of Ace. I really enjoyed reading it. :D
