OK. Let me say first that I am not happy: this is the 3rd time I've typed this review. My computer keeps eating them. I don't know why, but it's really getting on my nerves. Sorry. Needed to vent.

Let me say second: THAT WAS SO UNEXPECTED! OMG! When Thranduil thought about when he saw the unicorn, I mean. I was like wow! That's a really special father-son theme, even though neither knows that the other knows. I wonder if all elves see the unicorn, or just that family. Hmm.

I felt so sorry for Legolas when the unicorn didn't show up the first time. I've had that happen with friends doing that to me (glares across at "friends" and threatens them with plot bunny), so I can relate.

I reckon the imagery used during the unicorn ride was amazing. I'm not sure if I've already posted that in another review or if I typed it here and my computer ate it, but your imagery has always had stunning detail. I can't write descriptions, I can only write dialogue. You're good at both.
