A very nice take on the Narutoverse. Easy to read, well described, and for all that it's AU, it's still grounded well in the basics _ All in all, a very good job.

I love stories that don't include romance, but most people don't know how to write an interesting story without it. It's not a bad thing, mind, just unusual. You nailed it! I look forward to reading the sequel!

I wasn't too sure about the OC character at first, cause she doubts herself so much and she quit on her dreams and that made me very sad. The story is so realistic and I love that its giving her a second chance to take back what she let slip through her fingers. Overall, I really enjoy the interactions of the characters, especially Kakashi, and I hope to see more and more of these characters, like Kakashi, and I already love every one of them, like Kakashi.

Aha.I look forward to see how well you make bonds grow and your idea for the tests of the Chuunin exams was very clever. Kakashi's placement in the story didn't feel forced and neither does Iruka or Anko or Gai. I love how smoothly everything flows.

Yukiko has also grown on me so much, and I really can't stand hearing about her running an apartment because I already agree with Naruto. I love how the point of this story makes it seem like someone can give up on their dreams just to get them back later. I love that so much because it focuses on the saddest part of growing up, and I hope that she can get her dreams in check until she's happy.

I really, really enjoyed reading this, and I'm heckofa excited to start the sequel!

I enjoyed this a lot! Especially Yukikos team and Kakashi. Very sweet.

Beating Akaro was definitely a huge thing, but quitting against Iruka shows good judgment, like Shikamaru.

I think being an old gennin guarding Kashiwa would actually be a cushy post - it's long term so it might as well be home, a civilian town with more commerce, choice of products, and festivals.

In an actual mission, it might be easier to just drug noisy trouble clients and carry them all the way!

Rereading this fic I', reminded of how much Naruto has in common with Harry Potter - especially since the horcrux reveal!
