The long road home was the first story I read here and the reviews led me to your site.

I started to read By the bookThe informant first - and this was a good choice. I like the way you used Bobby's ordeal to underline his and Alex' unique friendship rather than to let them realize that they (romantically) love each other.

Now I'm looking forward to read the rest of By the book

Cool story but... what's a hoagie?

I find this story to be well thought out and well written. It's excellent, and seven chapters just flew by. I especially liked the addition of Bobby's mother being brought into the story. I thought the author handled that very, very well.

I take this opportunity to tell the author to keep writing. I look forward to her next work !

Good action w/ the way they caught Nicky (yeah, Bobby gets his revenge!) -poor Bobby- what a guilt trip all his life. I would like to have read the scene where Bobby & Alex have their talk, though. Nice job! (too bad it's over...I was likin' this story! ;-)

Really good! Poor Bobby :-( I like the way you got to her inner thinking/feelings. He REALLY needs/wants Alex there...he's so darn stubborn...when is gonna' admit it to her? She saved him from the assassin for gosh sake...he owes her at least that! Keep going ~ can't wait to see what happens when that shoulder is better and Bobby (hopefully) gets his revenge!

Well, Bobby, if she's angry and can't figure out what you're really feeling, is it any wonder she's gone?

*sighs* Still, she needs to be there, refusing to back down to get through to him. Meds and the docs alone probably won't be enough given his stubborness. And if he has any unusual reactiond to the meds, then recovery will take even longer...
