So much happens in this chapter and it only covers two day!

I'm really glad you didn't go the leather-pants route with Draco and kept him in character. Hermione knows something's up already (I hadn't realized that until this read-through), and I really like how Harry's being proactive in his friendships and encouraging Neville. (Though I do think Neville's changing a bit too quickly from just a couple of conversations, when it took him a lot longer in canon.)

God, Harry's nightmares are awful – they would have to be, from what he's been through.

Harry taking advantage of his supposed ignorance to troll Snape (and Dumbledore) BRILLIANT. Especially the Chinese stir-fry comment!

Thank goodness for the Sorting Hat, nice evasion there.

The way Harry merged with his younger self is more interesting than how most Peggy Sue fics – and more emotional too, with how younger Harry instantly agrees to it for the sake of friends he hasn't even met yet.

The Goblin custom of showing respect by not wasting their time is a really nice touch (although I'm not sure the goblins would react so strongly to just a few gestures from an 11-year-old?)

Harry's fears about the future and potentially manipulating his friends are exactly how I'd react in his place, but he does tend to stress over things TOO much, and he's never at his best when on his own & able to ruminate way too much. Hopefully the others will sort him out eventually!

I reread this story about once a year, it's one of my favourite HP fics!
I really like the idea of the Sorting Hat being a Horcrux (would have been a good way for Voldemort to keep an eye on Hogwarts as well as a sentimental choice like the diadem & cup, etc...)
The way Harry remembers Ginny and Hermione is perfect, especially imagining Hermione lecturing him...and I love it that it's Ginny who stops him killing himself, even though she's not even there.
And this line: "I plan to cheat like Draco Malfoy on a potions exam" HAHAHAHA

Wow. This is an outstanding fic. I love how you are developing the character of the Griffyndor Six. I hope that you will be able to continue the story at some point, but if not, thanks for the story so far.

OMFG I think I just came up with a theory of what I now hope you may be doing for your 'interesting take' on voldies resurrection.
It just hit me for the this time when reading about the gun even though I've read this story about 12 times, that once voldie gets a body Harry could SHOOT him! He could smuggle the gun into the final event at the tournament and shoot his way to victory let the old mad lord use his blood then once free shoot him many times during their duel. if he manages to shoot a few death eaters (malfoy snr for instance) I think its just a bonus.
anyway if this is not what you are planning thats cool too but I hope hope hope someone shoots Voldemort at least once in this story.

ps I hope you are feeling better and are recovering well. as much as I want this story and team 12 updated I hope only good things for your recovery and wellbeing first and foremost.
