Let me say this again: I fall in love with your writing, like, every damn time I read one of your stories. This, here, is something I'll never forget. I'll always recommend this to my friends, or friends of friends who read Bleach. It's just that amazing. Some flaws were here and there, but it worked out just fine. I love the new-found characterization of Ichigo and Rukia's relationship. But the subtlety is in all its glory. Also, can I just add that I approve of Ichigo's stubbornness, regardless of Rukia's answer that she wanted to stay in Soul Society. It's good. And I miss that about him. So many thanks for writing this!

Your use of imagery and your eloquence give me hearty sobs. I'll always love Chapter 181, with or without missing scenes, but this is a perfect read to accompany the last chapter to the best arc of the manga. This story holds the same raw, tender emotions as with "Holes in the Rain," yet somehow it's greater than that, because this time Ichigo and Rukia are more honest and bound by their devotion to each other. I like that you didn't shy away from the possibility that they could've reminisced alone, together and being intimate, before everyone moves forward in their own ways. The metaphors and witty banters alternately make it a whole lot more fun to read. You're amazing.

I remember reading chapter 181 and smiling because Ichigo lets Rukia stay in the Soul Society, however he deeply wanted to take her back with him. But now, I can't help but feel a little melancholic over this fic; I'm so touched by Rukia's thoughts. I also favored this conversation between them on the day before the nakama went home. It's so intimate - especially Ichigo's part - when they embraced and just let things be. Your writing is truly beautiful. You had me feeling ten different emotions at the same time!

I really am in awe of your writing, especially when it come to your fics about Ichigo And Rukia. You write both Ichigo and Rukia so close to canon, and so perfect, that whenever I read the manga, I find myself looking for the scenes of your fics to pop up in the manga.

Really awesome job in this fic. I really like the way you write Ichigo and Rukia, their conversations, thoughts and behavior, are really well written, and are very in character, something that a lot of Fanfic authors, don't know how to do well.

One of my favorite parts of this fic, is when Ichigo scrambles onto the roof to talk to Rukia about her decision to stay in Soul Society. In the manga, I remember the look on Ichigo's face when he told Rukia that they (Rukia, Ichigo and everyone else who came with them) were heading back to the world of the living the following day, and Rukia let him in on her decision that she would not be going back with them. To me, the look on Ichigo's face looked to be one of shock, disbelief, and a bit of sadness. Then the look changed to one where he is smiling and then telling Rukia is was fine if she stayed in SS, so long as she was the one who came up with the decision. I really thought for a moment, in the manga, that Ichigo would have taken Rukia back with him to his world (wishful thinking on my part) or at least have a heart to heart with her alone without Inoue following him. I actually think the reason he accepted Rukia's decision to stay in Soul Society so maturely and calmly was because he was aware that Inoue, Ganju, and Kuukaku were in the background listening to their conversation. So I'm quite happy that that you wrote this fic, where Ichigo seeks out Rukia to talk about her decision to stay.

Another favorite part of this fic is when Ichigo laughs and Rukia ask him to do it again. I love his response to her -"Like it works that way. You can't just tell someone to laugh!" that is something I can totally see Ichigo saying in the manga to Rukia after she requests something of him, that surprises him. Love the way you write both aichigo and Rukia.

Another of my favorite part is when she hugs him, And Ichigo let's her -"After a few seconds, Ichigo tilts his chin down; his breath quietly stirs her hair. He even sits up so she can lean into him more comfortably. "Fair enough". I love the little things Ichigo does for Rukia that may not seem like a big deal, but in Ichigo's case they are a big deal because he is the one doing them.

I have a lot of favorite parts in this fic, so I hope I don't bore you by letting you know my favorite parts of this fic of yours I like so well. My absolutely favorite part is when Ichigo and Rukia finally get to the reason he has been looking for her, he has accepted her decision of staying in SS, but he knows that it will be a while before he sees her again so he wants to see her again before he leaves, which is really thoughtful of Ichigo and shows how important and special Rukia is to him. In the manga, anyone can easily tell what a positive and great impact Rukia has made in his life, and how special she is to him. I'm so happy that whenever Ichigo is going through difficult times in the manga, Kubo always has Rukia make an appearance to strengthen his resolve and kick him out of whatever depression he is in. I like how Rukia tells him she will miss him and how Ichigo grabs her and pulls her into a hug. I also like how Rukia memorizes him and how Ichigo is patient with her, Ichigo is not known for his patience, but with Rukia he is patient to allow her to do what she needs to, which is memorizing his face.

Really amazing fic, you are a talented writer who writes Ichigo and Rukia so well. I hope you continue to write fics about them, we need more of your awesome work on . Thanks for such an awesome story about my two favorite Bleach characters

I cannot tell you how much I absolutely love this story. I've read it over and over again, many times when I've been in need of a good, heartfelt IchiRuki fic. You've captured these characters so well, and you've kept them in character despite exploring their relationship beyond the boundaries set forth in canon. My absolute favorite line was: "Shut up. I'm memorising you." That just says it all about their relationship - the snarkiness combined with the love. This story never fails to bring a smile to my face, and I figured it was high time I told you so, considering how often I've come back to this story. You're an amazing writer!
