I'm once again re-reading this story, and this is one of those chapters that reminds me not only why I like this pairing, but why I love Amelda, the Kaibas, Valon, and Raphael.
I feel I should have said this earlier, but I absolutely adore how you portray Amelda, his sassy attitude and snark is perfect. This story is really enjoyable.

I confused Amelda with Valon. XDD

I am now going to my local library to learn Japenese! Also, this was one of the best fanfics I have ever read, keep it up!

Wow, that was so sweet at the end. I love how showed their feelings (to a point, anyway) without making it over detailed. I have read this story beginning to end, but this chapter remains my favorite. I love this story!

Okay, first off. I read this story because it said it was a Kaiba/Jou fic. I don't know anything about Amelda, and I don't care to. That was a part of the series I skipped, because it bored me. So, I'm sure you can imagine my annoyance when I'm about halfway through your story, and I see absolutely no hints yet of any Kaiba/Jou pairing. So I skip forward to the last chapter, just to make sure and then see that its not a Kaiba/Jou fic. I'm really annoyed, I take the time to read fanfics that are as long as this one, only when it is a pairing I like, not one that I know absolutely nothing about. Don't get me wrong, it was well written and everything, (though I do think Kaiba is a little OOC sometimes) but its not what I wanted to read. Please change the characters that it says it is about so other people don't have this problem. Thanks.

Love it! I was waiting for Amelda to say that to Seto! It's rather funny to see im try to powerplay like he does and get knocked down a peg or two. Love it!

Love the Monopoly game idea. I rolled on the floor laughing as Seto was trying so hard to keep his earnings. Man that was great.

I'm going to have to stop here for the night, but I have read all seven of the chapters so far. I love how this is written. The mustache part was especially cute.

I think Alemlda is a very good role model for Mokuba. He seems to have the wisdom that Seto seems to lack.

I love how Jonouchi was so wise in telling Seto that he needed to be taught that not everything in life comes easy. The elevator sequence was a nice touch.

I have so much to say about this story, I'm afraid that if I take up too much space, I may drown others out.

In other words, I love it.

Okay,

First, I LOVE that you didn't have everything just be all honky-dorey for Seto and Amelda once they got together, even after Amelda moved in, because the characters you'd established wouldn't have been all "fixed" by that act.

Second, I LOVE that you kept all of the players IC, based largely upon canon and your characteriztions.

Third, I LOVE that, though they are together, it's not the usual "happy ending", but more of a sort of closure with obvious work still needing to be done with their relationship. (Reminds me of works by Nenya85, bnomiko, dragonwrangler and Rekall in that respect).

Fourth, I am suitably impressed by how well you wrapped that "dream" up in this story without actually saying it was "over". What I mean is that your usage of events and words to show the fulfilling of the "prophesy" was BRILLIANT.

And lastly, I appreciate your decision to take your time to flesh this story out completely and not rush to a conclusion and not force a nice and tidy conclusion upon us when the story itself offers too many variables and complexities to do so.

This is a very well done story and will be added my list of stories that I've read 4 to 10 times because I love them so. BRAVO!
