Eria chapter 1 . 8/9/2006 Were you aware that Ecografia (closer to echograph) means 'to scan' precisely an ultrasound scan in Catalan? :D I had tried looking up what EIKOGRAPHIA meant to get a sort of feel for the story and ended up going phoentical not being knowledgable in Greek. .~ I loved the beginning character study of Nekozawa from his own POV. Who doesn't look back and wonder about themselves? Hindsight is always 20/20 or better. Loved the musical piece descriptions! Though to be frank I'm not a music buff (and you introduced some words into my vocabulary I've never heard before ), I loved the pitch and tempo adeptly woven into what seemed like a haphazard arrangement at first. When it all came together, it went from a warm-up to a fullblown orchestral performance. I was surprised and left giddy from it. Great description and flow. It had all the razzle-dazzle adjectives to be expected to describe a charmer like Tamaki, and all the gothic poetic-style of Nekozawa's gloomy aesthetic sense. The only questioning impression in my mind left to think about was how Tamaki became estranged with his fear of being 'cursed' by Nekozawa (even though it is in his head... ), did Nekozawa bring it up in jest and then watch in bizarre fixation when Tamaki doomed himself? :D What does it mean? ! Man, that inspires me. Oh, and I looked up this anime to watch because I read your story "Firecracker" and wanted to know wherefrom those wonderfully delicious characters came. _ Please write more! I'm a stickler for well-written romantic angst/sap/fluff. XD |
Mizuki hikari chapter 1 . 7/30/2006 continue . |
indelible chapter 1 . 7/30/2006 Why aren't people reviewing this? God, you made my knees go weak with this fic. I am in awe. And it has been a long time since someone described a blonde as flaxen. :D I love the way you wrote Nekozawa's character and his problems with himself. The portrait part captures it perfectly. And Tamaki, oh, I love your Tamaki. He isn't whiny or a huge drama queen, unlike what most people would tend to emphasize. I. Love. Your. Fic. Must add to favorites right now. |
Ninja Shen chapter 1 . 7/29/2006 That was beautiful, truly. You have an amazing way with words, and I liked the character's intereaction, the idea of them being "rival princes", and of course all the poetic refferences. I think you were the first to liken Nekozawa to Tybalt, I sort of like that idea! You're one of the best writers in this fandom, and I'm especially happy that you wrote about my favorite character. Will you be writing any more? |
sciathan file chapter 1 . 7/29/2006 Wow...heavy duty literary allusions here. I am pleased. Your style is also sophisticated and elevated and the way you go about presenting the subject matter of the fic matches the style. Excellent work. |
