 Rhyselle 11/19/06 . chapter 3Larner, I have two sons with Autism, and one also has Cerebral Palsy. When I started reading this, and you introduced Tribbals Broadloam, I just started smiling so wide. My oldest son (the one with the double disability) cannot verbally communicate easily, being able to only respond to simple questions with simple answer rather than being able to initiate speech) but the one thing he can communicate better than anything else is his affection and love for others.
I can see my boys in Tribbals... and it makes me happy even as I am touched so strongly with emotion that part of me wishes to weep. Thank you for introducting her to us. I look forward to her appearance in any other story she chooses to appear in. |
