Ouch! Ok this is brutal - but I like it! & if it matters, I think it should be a one-shot. Just leave it & let the reader finish or continue it in their own mind if they so choose.

What I like - the plot in general, the definitely different way Gibbs is brought back, the cold hurt of Abby's 'welcome'.

Gibbs realizing that he really isn't needed at the hospital when he sees Ducky & Abby.

This was so sad! You really should continue this or write a sequal for it.
