Must admit...you had me going there. Kinda thought Sam was the girl he mourned so greatly, that is with Ember already being dead and all. But, you pulled it off nicely. The whole gravestone with her name and rustling winds conveying two grief-stricken but relieved, too, lovers into eternity. That was a nice twist on an old classic. Nicely done.

That was beautiful. I loved this story. It captivated me and pulled me in. I was hooked but it was also very sad. A happy sad, yes contradicting I konw but still it was very well written and I think you're a marvelous writer. Keep writing and you'll improve even more so than you alreadly have.
