Absolutely brilliant! Puts a whole new perspective on Mark's behavior. Makes me like him even more than I already do. Hope you write more from his perspective as Season 3 progresses.

haha,you delivered exactly what you promised. i don't think mark, being the arrogant bastard that he is, would stoop to talking to nurses for gossip or even bother to eavesdrop on them either. he simply would not associate with them, other than doing the mcnasty with them. on the other hand, attendings do not let interns operate as implied in your story (malprac suits). they may assist but never operate on their own. no senior resident will allow that, much more an attending consultant. back to the story, some doctors are like mark and think that interns are idiots. hehe. it's like they were never even interns before they became consultants! hope you'll add a chap though :)
