Which, in those ten seconds, had changed back. Back to the tired, distinctly sad Addison of the present. Gone was the dark infatuation, the flirty twinkle, or the playful flush in her cheeks.

Gone also, was that Derek.

McDreamy took over.

I love both these parts, they are humorous yet so incredibly sad...and so realistic. Amazing story!

Secretly, and you are never to mention this again, I adore that stupid song. I've always found it hilarious, in a lame way, ever since I used to dance around to it at the age of five.

And despite my aversion to post-divorce addek, I will, as usual, have to find myself eating my words about it being undoable in any way I could possibly approve of because once again, I aprove of this. A lot. Sort of like I approved of the Snow Patrol fic of yours. Really. You're a bad influence.

If only a scene like this would make it onto the show . . . .

Addison is, by far, the greatest character on Grey's Anatomy, and you did an absolutely perfect job of portraying her and the show in general. The random circumstance in the beginning, the humorous and cute middle, and the ever-so-slightly heart-breaking ending seem to be really characteristic of the show; you got it down perfectly. Keep it up, yo.

Sequel. PLEASE. This was amazing-the perfect combination of fun and nostalgia and bittersweetness in an all-too-short one-shot. And true to the show, also-only in the Grey's fandom could I actually imagine something like this happening. :)
