Second time I've read this. I think I need to finally favorite it. . . .

It's nice to see some Vellum fanfiction, and even though I haven't read Dark Tower (yet; I might have to now) there's a lot here packed into a small space. Well explained, and a mood befitting the original. Guy's characterization sounds right on the money to me. I wouldn't mind reading some more like this, wouldn't mind at all.
