Oh good Lord... But if you were good Derek and Izzie would be together on the actual show and Meredith would be prettier... Because, damn, Meredith isn't really all that good looking, but Izzie... Very much so. I might just have to give up on my whole 'I am straight' persona and worship her because HONESTLY.

Wow, that was seriously, seriously great. I know it's meant to be a one shot, but I would love for you to continue it anyway. I noticed this is your first GA fic, so regardless of your intentions with this story, I hope you choose to write more for the show.

Derek and Izzie are obviously not a common ship, but I have to admit to liking the idea of them from the stories that I have read. This one was perfect. I love how you wrote around the gap in the time (and attitude) of the stairwell scene and the OR scene. You're filler really makes sense of Derek's abrupt change in attitude. Hm, maybe something happened that we don't know about :)

Like you, Derek and Izzie aren't my MOST favorite ship, but as you pointed out, they would be pretty hot together. For the record, let me promote my fav - McStizzie. Also not super common, but their potential hotness has been recognized and is becoming quite the trend. Just had to break out my soap box, you know;)
