It's really sweet and sad that it took Flash's death to make the other Batman realize something like that.

Plus it was really yummy in the end D

This story made _me_ want to vibrate.

Seriously, this is the BEST BatFlash story I have ever read. It's just... it's in character, and it works so well -it even fits PERFECTLY with what we see in the "better world" episodes. Reading this gave me that crazy pang in the pit of my stomach, the one affiliated with powerful, sensual emotions. Yep, this one turned me inside out and I loved it. Loved, loved, LOVED it.

Gotta highlight some of the most brilliant bits: (bear with me, there are quite a few!)

1. Right away, when Wally thought about wanting a hug from the deli sandwich lady down the street, I knew I was in for a treat.

2. Next, Batman's "I have a dog." Sheer genius. Genius, I say!

3. Then: "Like, caught in the act, but not because none of them can read minds but f_ck, wouldn’t that be scary?" -LOL. That little thought-line is just one example of the many instances when Wally's voice takes over and turns this into a story told in the first-person point of view. I LOVE that. It's so much fun to read!

4. Great job examining Wally's reaction ShinyBat's warning- it was similar to my own. (The warning about Superman made me say "oh my gosh!" in absolute horror. There's no way... there's no way!)

5. And then, AH! he called him Wally! ! ! ! !

6. "Batface" and "Batso" -ROFL.

7. Can't even tell you how much I loved the hotness and the tragicness of that whole scene. You know what I mean.

8. Maybe it's just me and maybe I'm weird, but this is actually my favorite part of the story: "Surprise flitted over Batman’s features, and he glanced toward his counterpart. Shock then, and anger; Flash looked over at the other Batman, and saw him nodding." for me, that bit of nonverbal communication between the Batmans is like cake and fireworks and godDAMN! I love ShinyBats so much for answering Batso's silent question like that- love love love LOVE LOVE LOVE! So. Well. Written! *worships you*

...and I probably don't have to tell you how the final scene affected me. I'm glad you didn't write it all the way through; for me, that would have taken away from the power of all that led up to it. (You got them to that point and then let them go- which I think is just brilliant. Leaves me with that craving, you know? Anticipation. Delicious.) But, rRarrgh, what we do see is incredibly hot, and more importantly, it seems _right_ for them. It's not about the sex, but it *is*, if that makes sense.

Basically, this is slash fanfiction in its most beautiful incarnation. I am in awe.

whoot! really great! but you should have let the story go a bit more before finishing it 3 lol still it's really good
