This is a beautiful alternative. I would have liked to see it onscreen.

This is a good story of Sam saving Dean. I always thought he should have been able to find a way to stay with Dean.

Okay, so I'm not crying, of course not, because I don't cry through fanfiction ... okay, fine, blast it! I'm crying. The first fanfiction I have ever cried through.

Beautiful, beautiful masterpiece. A brother's ultimate sacrifice, and no one even has to die! Take that, canon. Too bad the writer's didn't tap into your mind.

I'm reading some of your shorter stuff and I gotta say... I like this. I thought the way you dealt with the deal was great. The blood sacrifice, Sam having to believe... and God, the faith. Really liked the way Dean woke up and was like, "What did you do?" And Sam was full of surprises.

Very nice, very sweet. It felt a lot better than when Dean got ripped to shreds by the hounds of Hell and then woke up suspended by black leathery chains screaming SAM!

This was amazing. How I WISH Season 3 had ended like this. Seriously. Anything but Dean dying. The only good news is that there's definitely going to be a Season 4, so that means they'll have to bring Dean back. If it wasn't for that...

Anyway, great story. You write really well.

I love your solution to the crossroads issue as well! Dean really isn't complete without Sam, and yay-they can't leave each other! I adore Sam's desperation at the beginning, as well as his semi-hysterical relief that carries the rest of his fic. Dean is beautifully characterized as well.

Very sweet. I'd like to know exactly what Sam did, but I'd rather have this ending than the alternative. :P I normally feel at least a little cheated when there's a sudden happy ending, but this just *fit*. Faith winning out, sharing a soul, and never being able to abandon each other-hell, yeah.

Great characterizations and some wonderfully tense writing. The image of them standing at the crossroads (did they actually drive there or is that just metaphorical?) favorite, though a near second is Sam's hand fisted in Dean's jacket. I love how close you can write these two without needing to say the words.

You have amazed me yet again! This is the perfect resolution to what has happened to the brothers... Sam completes him- he is whole. I love it. ::runs to write a letter to Kripke:: Kripke would be absolutely BONKERS if he didn't use this ending.
