Wow. That was powerful. Your charcter studies of Kira and Andrew are beautiful and evocative. I like how you painted Kira to be vulnerable despite his perfectness. And for Andrew - that last line was perfect.:)

I'm glad to find a story far less conventional than the other ones usually featured here on It is something that, unlike others, actually seeks to explore the humanity of the characters used rather than wallow in the shallowness of a basic romance or the simple plots under the theme 'heroism in war' and the list goes on. I like the underlying idea that in war, there is no good and bad, simply different persepctives - the idea that instead of seeing isolated cases of atrocity in a conflict, war in and of itself is the greatest cruelty that humanity has ever devised; and all written with the use of a mere two characters - and with such depth! Excellently executed. Excellently written. I've added you to my favourties. Hope to see more from you soon.
