aussiemel1 chapter 1 . 10/1/2007 Nice analogy, Dean and Hamlet, both tormented by ghosts and indecision, trying to decide whether to let it go or take action and in the end their need to find justice for the dead too strong. There was a real sadness to your story, his mother's memory weighed heavily on Dean. It was really well told, quite poetic. |
hermitme chapter 1 . 8/13/2007 That was really good. A very profound take on why Dean decided to stay. Great job |
irismay42 chapter 1 . 8/13/2007 Ooh, that was just heartbreaking! I'd love to know whether Dean actually did dream about something beyond hunting... Whether he even had the opportunity to dream. Sam obviously dreamt about it, but Dean always seems to have been the one caught in the middle, who never really had a choice. I think you captured this position he found himself in perfectly. Very atmospheric and though provoking... I'm going to have to sit and think about it a bit more now I think...! |
burnmedown chapter 1 . 8/12/2007 Oh...oh. I don't even know where to start describing all the things I love about this. The details are vivid and perfect, and it's a beautiful, real portrait of when and why Dean gave up on having dreams of his own. |
