I've got a couple of questions, but the epilogue may answer them.

(1) Why did Ryan commit the crime at this point, after staying silent for years?

(2) Why did he blurt out his guilt after being Miranda'ed, handing the police a perfect case at a time when they had no real evidence against him other than Joan's accusation?

Sorry I haven't reviewed sooner. I've read all the chapters, I've just been busy. Loved the story and I'm glad that they found the "perpetrator". Heh, I like Ryan going down for this. Looking forward to the epilogue.

Another dynamite chapter! I almost missed it. I wonder if there is gonna be a switch in the upcoming chapters. If not Ryan, who? I hope Will gets the low-down on Ryan, if it's him (or even if it's not). I'm glad Judith is improving all the time. Really great job.

Yea, another "Judith" chapter. I'm so glad she seems to be out ot the woods, so to speak. I was kind of hoping that the blood on the angel wasn't Judith's and that the police would have a DNA profile on the guy. It doesn't seem like she's gonna be a very good witness, poor thing.

Is the reference to Ryan Hunter from another story on FanFiction?

I'm hoping that he took Judith just to get Joan worried - he doesn't seem the type of villain to hurt an innocent child.

Aw, poor Joan. I knew God wouldn't directly answer her, but at least he gave her a hint, and Will was on the same wavelength. :-)
