I hope someday you'll finish this, although unlikely. I find myself holding my breath on the edge, waiting for more, your writing pulling my imagination into participation and left waiting.

I love this! Great setup! The “big bro Naraku” and “good friend Kagura” to Kags is great and unique! It’s adorable how protective Sess is of Kag and how he patiently watches over Kags. Love how he latched on immediately to Kag instead of his usual fighting the attraction routine and love how pursues her while waiting for her to grow up. SessKag fluff is wonderful. I was a tiny bit disappointed when I thought you’d skipped over SxK mating and all we got was of Y’s memory recalling when S had gone bonkers on the sadistic would-be rapists (and how cowardly Inu ran away without even going to check if his friend was ok!) so loved how you brought it back in the end and we get to see what happened from S/K’s POV. I liked Through the Mirror but that one takes time to get used to, bit too many twists and turns (even tho the story’s intriguing and I want to see what happens next, I also don’t want to read on with the Sango melodrama XD) and I much prefer Progression - love this story and hope you haven’t abandoned this. Thanks for sharing!

BTW writing’s great with minimal errors. I only have one suggestion with the structure - the time jumps were bit confusing. Starts off with Kag in 8th grade, then when she’s 13 then the “present” when she’s 20yo. That’s fine. But then jumps back and forth in past and with simple “past” as header and while sometimes it mentions Kag’s age, most times don’t know when it is or how old Kag is, just that it’s a “past” so it’s before when she’s 20yo but it’s also obviously a different “past” from the “past” scene that was mentioned just before. One header also has “two days later” which I’m assuming is 2 days after the previously mentioned past scene but it all gets kinda confusing.
While I understand why you may have shown the “Present” scene where Inu finally realizes 20yo SessKag are a couple early on in the story (and that’s fine), since the whole story is pretty much in the “past” with very few “present” scenes, and there was a lot of jumping back and forth between many past scenes without showing the times leaving us guessing when the scene so my suggestion would be 1) perhaps the past scenes could be more chronologically ordered (maybe not all, but most) and 2) Either a clear heading showing when it is (or if you’re using Kag’s age as marker, showing how old Kag is at each scene change) would be helpful. Not asking you to change/revise the story, but suggestions for future chapters if you continue fyr.

I'm trying to picture what Sessh's markings look like but I can't figure it out. I'm also trying to figure out what Kagome looks like but I'm confused by the pixie remark. There is only thing I wish was given in each part & that would be the time frame or ages of Sessh & Kagome in each half because I'd be able to figure it all out from there since we know from Ch.1 that she was 13 & he was 17 when they met. I can't help but enjoy the way the story jumps back & forth through time.

I love the way this story goes back & forth. The only confusing thing for me was wondering if I wanted to cry at Sessh cutting his hair off , try to picture him with his hair cut short or wonder how long it would take for his hair to grow back...

I love your writing, I love this story and I'm rereading it at the moment. This chapter starts with her 13 & him 17 & ends with her 20. It seems split between when the 2 of them 1st met and where it led to what the 2 of them became. Both young but they've caught up to each other.
