After reading this, I can so imagine Hidan being a little kid, and him and Kakuzu are in some old log cabin, Kakuzu in a rocking chair in front of a fireplace, and little Hidan being all, "Grampy Kaku, what's dying like?" and "Grandpa Kakuzu" being all, "Well, Hidan,..." *long rant*

It's great! I can never seem to find any great fanfiction on him. It's one of the few that I like. You are right they don't really give you alot of info about him in the manga,so you just have to guess about it.

Wow...That is truly great. Some utterly chilling elements, and I think you've captured at lot of the motivations behind the characters. They might not be the real motivations, or they might be...but they are plausible motivations.

Very satisfying read. I agree with you-I also would have liked to see more character development in the comic, but I really like what you came up with. Great work, very creative!

It was rather refreshing to see such a wonderful story after going through a sea of not even half baked ones. When I read the summary, I thought it would be a lot different, half-baked. It wasn't, I assure you. If I could, I would give you the award for best thoughtful oneshot out there in fanfiction. Seriously, it seems like you put in a lot of thought into it(even if you haven't.)

Hidan and Kakuzu's personalitiesactionsthoughts were just..wonderful. Even though we don't get that much character for these 2 in the manga(other than the typical cursing and money loving) it seems as if you captured the whole nature of them through subtle things.. It just feels as if I was reading about the actual 2 characters, not about some immortal swearing idiot and money loving freak(as they are depicted in many fanfictions.)

Good job, and keep writing. :D
