Aww. Poor House. I really didn't like the way he was treated in that episode. I love this caring side of Wilson. And Hurt!House and Sick!House with Wilson caring for him is always fabulous and you write it very well. )

What an awesome story. I was quite pissed to at how his team just strapped him down, and then left him after three risky biopsies. I waned to revoke their medical licenses and have them shot. Oh, no, I am starting to sound like Wilson. Again, great story. Please, keep the good stories coming. Have you wrote anymore stories in "The Devil, You Say" and "Battling the Demons" story line? PLease, let me know I would like to read them.

Thank you for this. That whole medical mugging has angered me. I tried to write a scene where Wilson stands those jerks off and rips them for what is basically an assault, but it wouldn't come together. You also perfectly nailed House's baffling attitude about people who attack him.

*grins* great job! it's nice to see wilson being a friend and not lecturing house. i actually have a similar story i have been writing but i've been waiting for the episode to come online. it seems like no one else noticed that house could have killed himself...again, except wilson. :) thanks for sharing!

Wow...I'm impressed how how quickly you got this together after the episode-and how well-written it is! The whole drugging a person who is in the middle of a blood test thing bothered me too, so I can imagine how annoyed Wilson was when he found out what Thirteen had done. Your dialogue is great-it captures that easy back-and-forth Wilson and House have when they talk. Thanks for the splendid read!

Thank goodness House has Wilson to look after him and make sure that he's okay. What those kids did to him is inexcusable and was done without regret. Wilson should have given them a good tongue-lashing for putting House through that even though House volunteered.

Beautiful scenes make up a beautiful story, Love the tenderness you've managed to capture as well as House' fear of loss of control, well done! Best lines:

Can't begin to tell you how much I loved this...

Perfect tone, perfect "voices" of the two. I could actually hear them having those conversations.

And when I watched that episode today, before I read your fic, I was actually shocked by the very casual attitude everyone seemed to be having towards doing all those procedures on House and just leaving him to his fate afterwards. Loved how you took that up!

I *knew* someone would write a post-ep on this episode for those of us interested in the physical and mental ramifications of such blatant disregard for House's welfare (now that someone other than House is doing the disregarding). As usual, top notch work. I like that you've got House so visibly (and literally) shaken because this batch crossed the line twice in half an hour. (Why the hell would 13 skip the lido after he wakes up? I like that she's not touch-feely Cameron, but House's snooping about her genes and sneaking her some caffeine does not equate to skipping lido on a biopsy. On a -third- biopsy.) And as always I like your Wilson better than post-Season 2 Wilson. He doesn't just stop being an enabler and he doesn't just stop caring. So thank you for tying up the medicine and the emotional register. Genuinely subdued House is frightening to behold, but so real. (I'm glad you're writing again, even if it's just this little piece.)
