This rather a bittersweet fic... Just when you think everything is finally looking up something happens... I am reminded of a fic I read a while ago and then ending was something like "Take joy in the moment, because you never think that the next tragedy about occur is going to be about you." Excellently done!

I got shivers reading that final quote. Either I missed that episode, or didn't REALIZE what that meant (and thanks writers for totally glossing over that Jonas might be important to people). Now you've got me worried over poor, forgotten Jonas.

That said, lovely story addressing those few months between seasons eight and nine, and love that you brought Jonas in to complete the team. Poor Jack, always feeling awkward around Jonas, but he's still part of the team.
