I don't like Zadr, but along the lines of that, I have to agree, especially with the Zagr ones, there's comics on the internet that show this perfectly, it's not all about hot sex or all about how pissed Dib can get when Zim's around Gaz, it's about slowly realising the feelings they might secretly have for each-other, and making something along the lines of funny and cute from it.

Gedatsu-kitteh, this is one of the most truthful statements I have ever heard out of a fanfic. The same rules go for all pairings, wheather it's RAPR, ZADR, ZAGR, all of them, so do a favour for me, the next time you ever EVER read a ZADR fanfic like the 'Alien has sex with a human' ones, send them a copy of this message. Thank you for pointing this fact out and teaching us all something, I've written a lemon myself, and it's not ZADR...I hate ZADR, if you love it I'm so sorry, but I think that the statement is just as good as the actual story, the only downside is that, you don't say if the characters have aged at all. I'm not saying like it should be where one time they're 13 and another time there 62, but seriously, oh and another thing? I don't happen to know what they look like, get where I'm coming from?

I am very new to the world of writing of ZaDR. In fact I haven't even posted anything yet, and only have drafts. I love fluffy fan art with flowers and blushes, but that's fan art, and not fan fics. Reading your tips at the end made me think I may have to change some things about my fics, but some bits are what ZaDR should be. Although one of my fics is one of those 50 sentences deals. Those can be a little fluffy like art, in my opinion. Writing good ZaDR is hard! Hence my not publishing as of yet. It's not about the hot aliene sex... I almost always skip over sex scenes. Mpreg bugs me too, though it's okay in those 50 sentence deals. I'm rambling now, but my point is to anyone who may read my fics in the future please be patient with me. Tell me how to make it real ZaDR, and not just never read any of my other stories either. This was a lovely piece!

Ouch...poor Zim. And poor Dib, for that matter. I was cringing through the whole "trying to kill Dib" scene—I was even certain that he *was* dead until Zim was devastated by the fact that he couldn't kill him. (Or was that symbolic in some way?)

And it *is* too bad about ZADR...it's those fics with OOC writing and over-the-top smut scenes that give it such a bad name, in my opinion, not just because the critics are homophobes. (Which they might well be anyhow.) Heck, I don't really support ZADR myself—I read it, but I don't get fangirlish/obsessive over it—but even I can see moments in the show when Zim/Dib romance could be construed.

I love ur author's note at the end. and I HAVE to agree 100% on ur opinion of ZaDr because that IS TRULY what ZaDr is. Although YOU thought this little fic was boring, I thought it was actually quite nice & entertaining. It kinda made me think too. Props to u, mate.
