I agree completely, I don't understand why they forced Aang and Katara to be together, they surely have a mother-son relationship in the series, and I don't see any other kind of love for them, but well.. he's the "hero", altough I also agree with you, the hero is Zuko. The grown character is Zuko, not Aang.

I find it so horrible that Zuko has a family like that. Seriously, torturing him, keeping him prisoner, burning half his face off, sending lightning aiming to kill, threatening him, and more. And, honestly, I’m kinda shocked that Katara hasn’t shown her motherly side to Zuko after witnessing this. Because this is abuse, straight on abuse, from his own family that’s supposed to love him unconditionally. Makes me sad, and angry at Katara. Really girl, be more sympathetic. There was a reason he didn’t wanted to come back. Ajjjjj I’m pissed.
