Great fic here. Your narration has a nice pace and was well written in both Byakuya's (and Yoruichi's )POV which is totally believable.

Love the angst and the feels. Thank you for giving us an insight on what Byakuya could have actually felt when Yoruichi left. Added to my favorites.

This is so... Perfect. Of course cannon young Byakuya is a hellion, and thus less proper around the "demon-cat" Though this was probably written before that came out, so I wont nag on that like probably half of your reveiws. :3

Oh, poor Byakuya. It's hard to imagine how he coped with Yoruichi's sudden disappearance in the anime/manga. His emotions, frecking depressed little Kuchiki's complex emotions, are so private. I think, however, that you captured the emotions very well.

But wasn't Byakuya a bit more short tempered when he was younger? In here, he appeared too calm and collected.. Other than that, I don't have any complains or anything. Great story~ :D

... I am enthralled by this story! It is perfect! Incredible imagery, a beautiful and realistic take on two amazing characters. I loved the irony of Byakuya teaching Yoruichi the 'escape step move thingie'. I can not aptly put into words how brilliant this story is - and for that I apologise.

Nice view on Byakuya's relationship with Yoruichi- and not romantical- that's nice

You can see how clever little Byakuya already is- I like his scheming...it's kinda cute. And I liked his stunt, way to go and surprise Yoruichi. Really, Yoruichi seems and acts much more like family than anyone of his "supposed" family...(excluding his mother).

I liked it how you described Byakuya's aversion to learning- no wonder, doing things like playing tag is what he should do at his age, not always learn.

He really is like a bird in a cage, isn't he? Poor kid. And then Yoruichi left...

I liked the thought that Yoruichi learned the method of escape she used later on him during these games from him (I hope that sentence was understandable :))

Aww, it made me want to give Byakuya a hug! ... Not that he'd let me...

This was an absolutely wonderful story to read. I know I've been adding a lot of your stories to my favorites list without reviewing (for which I apologize), but this was one I absolutely had to review.

The sheer amount of detail you presented in this is amazing. I felt as if I was running right alongside Byakuya, which is something I wasn't expecting. The relationship you portrayed between the two is a good one, and very believable. I'm thoroughly impressed.

I like this dichotomy between Yoruichi and Byakuya. That little scene in the manga was so brief and yet you've made it much more.
