   Indigo1100 chapter 1 . 9/4/2010 Wow! Great story! The first image, the idea of him being let down for a short time, killed as recapturement, denied that as punishment... Thinking about the things that probably happened that year, it's not anywhere near the harshest, but it's chilling. The torture seen is wonderfully written (to the point that I had trouble reading it- god, that's horrible). And the way he starts thinking of Ianto, the feelings and decisions that leads him to, and then how Ianto is there for him in the end. Thanks! |

| Fira21 chapter 1 . 5/4/2008 Oh, that's just so sad! I like how Jack progressed from thoughts of Gwen to thoughts of Ianto. Because, let's face it, he was (and if I'm honest, still somewhat is) a bit obsessed with Gwen. It was a nice transfer though. Where he finally realizes that she just isn't enough, and it was Ianto who was always behind him giving silent support (and reprimands). I like how when Ianto is gone Jack is lost, but when he's there he's calmed. This really portrays how shattered Jack would've been after his time with the Master, and how Ianto would be there to help him pick up the shattered pieces of his psyche. |
