Wow, how original... and just... wonderful! I loved the hot groping and the last few lines with Gris and Nick. CSI AU is hard to write, and even harder to write well. So good job. Heh, I feel like it should be continued, it has potential, even though I know you wrote it a while back. By the way, did you name Maverick Maverick because of George Eads' dog... named Maverick? Or is that an amazing coincidence?

Honestly, I'd love to see a sequel to this. AUs are something I find odd in the CSI fandom, because I so love the context of the show. But I have to say, I'm very impressed, I absolutely loved this story, and wouldn't mind seeing a little bit more of this idea. ;)
