That was a seriously legendary speech by Barney. And, if you were to write more Barney/Robin in the future, that'd be awesome.

A bit mushy, but hell, I like mushy. Write more, please, and feed my addiction to brotp. I liked this line a lot:

“Okay, so, Lily made me come here. Or, no, she didn’t make me come here, she’s tiny and it’s not like anyone can really make me do anything.”

OH MY GOD this is so amazingly the best Robin/Barney fic I have read in such a long time. Where do I even begin? This fic makes me hurt in such a good way. But I think what I really like about it is how you wrote Barney, like he's saying all these things that I've always wondered how he's going to say. That he loves her but that doesn't mean that they can't still be who they are. And "I just have this dull pain all the time. It’s about a 4 on a scale of ten. It’s just there,” he points to his solar plexus, “and it goes away when I’m with you." Gah. Just wonderful. Thank you!

Fab story -I could see it happen this way. That said, I don't think that it needs to be a M rating. You could probably knock it down a rating or two.
