I love this story so much. Most of the B/R fic I read is from Barney's POV, and he's the one who forces the relationship, but I just have a horrible feeling that if he does come on too strong or seems too needy, then Robin won't be able to handle it. She doesn't do the mushy gushy stuff at all, and Barney has a bottomless well of neediness. But if he backs off...and if she is the one to make the first move again? aw...

I love all the details in this. I could see Barney's grin when he told her he loved her gift. I could see him choke on the pretzel on laser tag night. I could hear Robin's voice in your writing - she's difficult to write for, I think, because so many of her feelings are never spoken aloud on the show, but I really love her here.

I love that this story is so full of...hope, I guess, for lack of a better word.

Plus - fantastic penname! I love that Beatles song.
