I love mai! Maiko rocks!

Noooo, I really wish that this was an ongoing fanfiction, because it's really interesting, and this first chapter was awesome. It's not often that you find such a great AU Maiko story, as everyone seems to ship Zutara. (sigh...) I hope you write more Maiko AU's! Or continue this one ;), it has such a great start. I especially liked the idea of Zuko with beer. Hehehe.

Very cute. Most people would have ended this story with both couples kissing, but I think your ending stays much truer to the actual characters. It is much more in-character for Mai to give a phone number. The only question I have is...how did they order the beer? If they were freshmen and sophomores, wouldn't they still be underage? Meh, that's a nit-picky little detail. Everything else was great.

I really like this story! I'm so glad you make Zuko dorky and awkward (you know like how he really is in the show). Don't get me wrong, I love Zuko, but he's no Rico Suave. Kudos to you for writing an AU where the characters are actually IC. Oh and you must be from the midwest-I caught your reference to pop!

Lol, that was awsome! Completely made of awesomesause! I loved the Sokka/Zuko friendship... it was priceless... yeah, I would've liked maybe a teensy bit more Maiko? Plz? Yeah, maybe just a quick kiss er... something...

OK, this is hilarious and ridiculous with spot-on characterization. Absolutely perfect. I am laughing so hard. XD Oh, Lord. Brilliance. XD This WAS absolutely priceless. Nice work. I think I may even have to rethink my dislike of AUs. (If only they are all so well done!)

That was actually nicely done. Most AUs seem to botch up the character's personality badly but this was well done. Good Maiko awkwardness. Sokka's hysterical btw.
