Oh yeah! I LOVE THIS. This is truly, truly one of the best Iroh and Zuko pieces out there. You have truly captured their relationship, everyone is IC, the plot is completly believable, and I could go on and on. Your story is full of YAY. It is heart-warming and endearing and so, so perfect. It does not get much better than this. And it's your first? AMAZING. You, m'dear, are a natural. I think, with this story, you have made the world a better place. At the very least, you have made mine. :D

Liked the ending though I realy doubt that Iroh would forget that Zuko was still a child. (In my opinion, doesn't mean that in the series Iroh didn't forget.) Would have liked to see more.

There's no way this is your first fic! It's too good! I looked at the other reviews, and their pointers about the grammer are true, but even so, you should go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back.

Thanks for the reviews so far! I only started reading fanfiction a couple weeks ago (which is why I forgot the disclaimer...doh) and after reading a bunch of other people's I really wanted to write one myself.

Now that I have read through this a few more times I totally see how obnoxiously long my sentences are! Guess I just overcompensated with the adjectives because I always get annoyed when people don't describe the things they are writing about in enough detail. Any way, yeah, a lot of those sentences could stand to be chopped in half.

I totally get what you're saying about being more subtle with what I'm trying to get at. I've noticed a lot of other people do that too. I just wanted to be sure people understood what I was getting at.

Any way, I know I'm a total dork for responding to my own reviews, I just really appreciate the tips. I love writing and reading about Zuko. I think the whole tough guy exterior/soft guy interior is really hot! ;) But yeah, I will definitely be writing more Zuko-Iroh stories in the future.
