Age: Tells everyone she's 16, but she's really 17 turning 18 soon.
Appearance: Long, curly dark brown hair, russet skin tone, and beautiful dark brown eyes. She has a hint of a spanish accent and she is very pretty. Her dad was Spanish, her mother was Indian. She is tall, curvy, muscles that are very obvious just like her curves. She (after the plane crashes) ripped off the sleeves to her jacket and usually wears her dark blue or white camisole/tank top and faded jeans with black hiking boots she stole from some dead girl. She has a tattoo of a sun on her lower back, a thorn anklet around her ankles, and an graffiti-print-like colorful "X" on her arm.

Friends: Her friend, Harmony, she meet on the streets in Sydney.
Family: Her little brother, Bowie, was sitting next to her and when she woke up (she fainted) after the plane crash she couldn't find him she assumes he's dead (But if she finds him alive, that'd be awesome!). Her twin sister, Jimena (Jim). Her mother, Roxxane, recently died from a disease, their father died from a heart attack many years ago.

Personality: Nina has a sharp tongue and a hot temper that sparks up at any moment. She is rebellious and headstrong but very loyal. She's a survivor, she gets that no one will be coming for them, the seriousness of the situation, but none of this bothers her, she's focussed on surviving. She is mysterious and very kind to people who dare approach her. She has been expelled from many schools and has even been in Juvie (I hope you know what that is).
Reason for travel: She ran away from her home, taking Bowie and her twin with her because their aunt (their godmother, too) wanted only Bowie and was going to put Jim and Nina up for adoption. So Nina ran, taking Bowie and Jim with her. They lives on the streets with Nina's new friend Harmony. Her aunt found them in Sydney and was taking a flight to the States to give Nina and Jim up there, but then the plane crashed and her aunt died.
Past: Nina was born in Florida, near Miami. Her sister is 14 minutes younger than her. Their dad died when the girl were 9 and Bowie was a year old. They lived with their mom in Las Vegas. In Las Vegas Nina got into bad stuff, she jacked cars and got into a lot of fist fights until her mom died from a disease, she straightened out but still had her wild rebellious side on her. Their godmother, Jean, wanted only a little child, not 2 rebellious teenagers. So she was going to put Jim and Nina up for adoption while keeping Bowie. Nina didn't like this, neither did Jim and Bowie. So they ran away. They lives on the streets until they meet Harmony who lived in a old, run down house in the middle of some woods. They stayed there, became friends with Harmony..then their godmother found them. They ended up in a town near Sydney, Australia when their godmother found them. She hauled them on the next plane back to the states.
Likes: She loves the setting sun. the smell of spices vanilla lavender and cinnamon. the colors black blue purple and red. She loves windy, sunny days. Nature. Animals. Dancing. Her twin/brother.
Dislikes: The smell of something burning. rainy days. her godmother.
Strengths: She can use a knife pretty well from living in Las Vegas, is a fast learner, loyal, trust issues, fast runner, fast reflexes, can work under pressure, great at hand-to-hand fighting she can get into a fight with a grown man and come out with barely any scrapes.
Weaknesses: When someone brings up her family. Trust Issues. Sharp tongue and sarcastic comments get her in trouble a lot. Rebellious. Doesn't listen very well.

Possible Flashbacks:
Nina is walking down the street in baggy jeans, and a tight black tank. You can tell she's strapping (You know what strapping is, right? Basically she has a gun). When a girl runs up to her and says, "Your sister's looking for you. She's at the park" You can see Nina running down the street when she suddenly runs into someone who looks exactly like her, her twin sister Jimena, Jim's eyes are red and puffy she catches her breathe then says "Mom...hospital...sick...dying" before she starts crying again. Nina's eyes get big and she hugs her sister. Jim is sobbing by now, and so is Nina. They sink to their knees, then they are sitting, holding each other and crying in the middle of the sidewalk as their world falls apart around them.
#1: A week after her mom died. Her sister is leaning on her with Nina's arm around her while her sister is crying, Bowie is hugging Nina's leg burying his face into her side. Both Jim and Bowie are crying but Nina is looking straight ahead with no emotion at all on her face but there her eyes are shining with unshed tears.
#2: Her godmother/aunt is sitting on one side a table while Nina Bowie Their uncle and Jim are sitting on the other side. It looks like they are in a dining room or kitchen. Her aunt saying that she's keeping Bowie but giving away Jim and Nina. Nina gets angry and starts yelling, her uncle trying to calm her down. Nina is sitting across the table from her aunt, her aunt tells Nina and Jim to go pack and Nina lunges across the table to grab her aunt, she's screaming and cussing by now, yelling "You CAN'T seperate us! We're family! We stick together! You little *@$&%!" Her aunt is screaming trying to get away, her uncle and sister are trying to pull Nina off her aunt while Bowie is standing off to the side his eyes huge.
#3: Bowie, Nina, and Jim sitting in a room with the lights turned off, except for a flashlight that Bowie is holding, outside the window you can see it's night time. All of them are whispering and Bowie is crying. Bowie says "I don't want to stay with HER, I don't want you to go!" then Nina says "Me and Jim aren't leaving without you" then Jim says "She'll never give Bowie up," then Nina says "That's why we're running away".
#4: They are in a alley way, they looks dirty and tired. Bowie is sleeping in-between Jim and Nina. Everything is quite then a girl who looks dirt smeared, also, steps into the alley. Nina glares at her and she says "Are you guys new? I'm guessing you are since you're sleeping in the alley. I have a better place to stay, you wanna come?" Nina glares again but the girl keeps talking "I'm Note. Who are you?" then Jim says "I'm Jimena, this is Nina, and that's Bowie," Note says "Runaways? Me, too." she turns to leave, "Are you gonna come or not?" slowly Jim stands up and Nina picks up Bowie and they follow Note out of the alley,"
#5: They are lying next to each other in a dark area. Note is there. Suddenly there is a noise. Note gets up yells "Sorry, every man for himself!" and runs away, soon after that their godmother/aunt stumbles in grabs Bowie, glares at Nina and Jim and turns to walk away. Nina and Jim follow, as they are leaving you can hear sirens then Nina saying "Shit,"

Full Name (nicknames if they have any): Colette Adelaide Ross, AKA Cole.
Age: 24
Appearance: Short, around 5'2. She has dark skin, due to her father being african american and her mother being caucasian. She has very blue eyes. Most people think she's wearing contacts because she appears to be entirely african american, but she has her mother's blue eyes. Also, her hair is naturally light. Its a reddish-blondish-brown color. She has a very petite body frame.
Personality: Really goofy/silly. She loves to crack really lame jokes that cause people to give her dirty looks (or laugh at the stupidity of it all), but she doesn't usually care. She's usually very positive, but gets put down easily.

Past:
Had a very happy and normal childhood. She was homeschooled up until grade nine, and people always made fun of her, but it didn't put her down. She had a small group of friends she was really tight with.
She had never really been one for dating. She only had one committed relationship, but the guy turned out to be a total jerk and was cheating on her the whole time because she wouldn't sleep with him (she's abstinent).
She moved to L.A to attend school for fashion. She graduated at age 23, when she met her very first boyfriend (doesn't matter what his name is).
She lived in L.A with her boyfriend, the one who was cheating. One night, she told him that she was going to be working late at her job (she's a fashion designer, and works at a very end clothing store). They actually let her out early, so she returned home, just to catch him in the act of sleeping with another woman. She gathered her stuff and moved out the next day.
Her parents were living in Guam. She had no where else to go, so she left L.A to go live with them. She boards 316.. .
