This is (quite possibly) my favorite story of all time. I have read it several times now and it feels like the "gold standard" to which others are judged. I always end up coming back to just reread it. I cannot recommend this story enough.

So it took me a few days to read this just because life kept getting in the way, but this was a really good story. I believe I’ve read it before and have probably commented while logged in, but it never hurts to leave extra love on a remarkable fic. Major kudos!

I actually really enjoyed your story. while the characters were mildly ooc, it didn't bother me much at all. I found it to be an interesting take and loved it. i don't feel that the romance was rushed, and I enjoyed the pacing of the story. I do feel that the last half of the story was a smidgen too fast I understood the decision and liked it still. as far as Itachi's love of her hairI like that touch to the story. it have a starting point to his affection, and branched off from there.
I'm sorry that Flamers decided to go after your story. it's really not right. Some days I feel like they go after the stories with lots of reviews and look for ways that they aren't "good enough". or, perhaps their ideas of a well written story is different than mine. but needless to say I enjoyed this story and am quietly wondering if there's a part 2 :3

Truthfully I found this story months ago due to a recommendation in tumblr. As usual, I read the reviews first and there are some that put me off. I only read until ch 7. Today I continued from the point onwards and cannot be more grateful! This story is so great. You can twist the canon to fit your plotline and the ending was satisfyingly fulfilling. It is easily one of the three best and most reasonable itasaku fic after Nightmare in Red and Cabbage Patch. I skipped all the lemons and I think you have good characterization for Sasuke. Sakura is no-nonsense, mature which is good. Can't really say Itachi's character is on point but it's acceptable. Overall, don't listen to the bad reviews! This fic is above average for most itasaku fics in this fandom
