 Twinnet 8/7/10 . chapter 1Oh, this was wonderful to read. I don't think there's a part that I don't like. |
vLuna 9/6/09 . chapter 1That was very sweet^^ I loved the part with Reeve. I hope you write more. |
 Fairheartstrife 8/29/09 . chapter 1Two. Only two?
You see, I just discovered you and your amazing talent, and now I'm disgruntled to learn there are only 2 fics.
I loved this. LOVED it. It's going in my faves and on my rec list. The characters are brilliant and believable, and I especially like Cloud in this.
His last line is perfect.
Wonderful, wonderful work here. Thank you so much for sharing this! |
ObsessiveCompulsiveValkyrie 8/23/09 . chapter 1Wo-ow! That was amazing...! I don't know the song, but I'm on my way to YouTube to listen to it a moment. So, Cloud can dance, huh? Somehow, that's not so unimaginable. And it's sexy. I loved how they ignored Reeve and kept on dancing. I'm a good ol' fashioned sucker for anything CloTi ^_^

P.S. I have my own collection of song-inspired oneshots... It's called CloTi Fluff an' Other Stuff. |
Kainos Ktisis 5/30/09 . chapter 1Quite endearing in a bittersweet kind of way. First, the imagery is absolutely beautiful, and the line "The mountains crumbled, the trees collapsed, and the river dried up leaving behind a dusty, cracked wasteland" especially stuck out to me. There's an undercurrent of restlessness, of the notion that someday everything is going to fall apart and even the slight hopefulness that's presented in tainted by pessimistic realism (though I wonder if there's any other kind...). I especially like the paragraph where you write "The trick to life was to cherish those quiet moments between the storms. To live those normal days to the fullest. And if one day they didn't make it home to those kids she was going to make damn sure they knew how much she loved them every day she was given the chance." It captures Tifa's determination so wonderfully, but it is also filled with a kind of hopeless hope, if that makes any sense at all. I'm drawn to the fact that Tifa has her own set of despair to deal with but that her strength of will is so prominent in how she handles it. I also appreciate how realistic a picture you paint of Cloud and Tifa seeking escape from being heros, if only for a single night. Again, it goes back to the tension between wanting a normal life, but unable to relax completely because of the knowledge that everything could fall apart again so easily.
Anyhow, suffice to say that I am extremely impressed with this piece. Not a lot of stories have enough substance to it for me to start analyzing like this either. Lol. What can I say? Remnants of my (long past) English major days. :) Looking forward to whatever else you have to wow me with! |
BlackbAngeL 5/29/09 . chapter 1Oh wow! This was beautiful, amazing, everything! I loved it, and will put it in my favs right away!
Tifa's thoughts and angst, Cloud drinking and the two of them ending up dancing... The last part with Reeve was a very nice touch too, especially Cloud's reaction to it! You portray them all very well.
Lovely fic, really, thanks for sharing it! |
kitsune13 5/28/09 . chapter 1wow - this is - this was really wonderful. it's late and I'm not entirely coherent but that's okay. Because this was just lovely and deep and rich and made me smile and sigh and I'm so, so glad Cloud told the world to go to hell at least for one night for her. Just - so much I enjoyed about this and I can't wait for more. |
mom calling 5/28/09 . chapter 1Please write more...this is very nice. "Just let it spin..." I like this Cloud. And Tifa, too. You are good! mc |
