Not a single review in 2015? That's a shame. You have a really good story here that I hope gets more readers. It's been 4 years, and I really wish you would update and finish this. Heck, maybe the reason why no one seems to be reading this story lately is because people have to dig deep in order to find it first.

Wow. I love where the story's going- a real mystery that's slowly getting unraveled. A son for a son looks like Rufus has a heart enough to protect his family from Jenova and Sons (?) and Cloud is the unfortunate third-party kept in the dark— pretty shady for Tifa. Here is a time when suspicions should've been revealed. But then again, she had her reasons for telling him to quit; though that would mean she's subjecting another poor, skill-lacking lawyer into this mess. Enjoying your characterizations and relationships. Shame that you've stopped it for years now.

I've just read the summary and somehow it coincides with an idea running through my head I have yet to see if my idea is similar to yours'/the work I'm planning to draw inspiration from. Ever heard of Autumn's Concerto/Next Stop Happiness? The premise has similar situations and coincidentally this TW drama came out around 2009 as well.
I don't have a fanfic account but I'm wondering if finding good material is the best way to fall back in love with writing after college papers have sapped this strength. . Anywho, this story seems to not be completed yet but that's life!

Where's Denzel now since Cloud's not available for babysitting duties? Right, this is Cloud's POV. Good job on working in the game aspects to the story. That was good mako, Hojo, inserts there.

Uh oh, so those bullets really were for Cloud. Whoa. But as a warning? They gave up pretty fast after that first barrage of shots.

Aha, I think I know what passed in Tifa's mind at that moment. She thinks that Cloud wants to use her case as a career boost, since it's high profile and all instead of because he genuinely cared for her and Denzel.

I'm wondering though, why Tifa isn't more forthcoming with her story, her story with Rufus anyway. Or, why isn't Cloud interviewing her more on the case? Won't those details be important for the trial later on?

I was wondering about something but totally forgot about it, maan! Hopefully I remember later on.

Oh, I got it. Why doesn't Barrett watch Denzel?

Good chapter, by the way. I like how it showed their easy camaraderie. They should be careful being seen together though since that might be used by Rufus to twist tales.
