Wow what a story, kinda like the post Gi movie thay could pull off due to the poor script. But here we can see this happening as all 4 characters have their own set of insecurities!

Yay! I was so excited to see the update!

There was a lot to like in this chapter. Gilligan's dream sequence was inspired, and was a nice throwback to the dream sequences on the show. I can easily imagine Gilligan (and many young fathers) having those fears, and the dream expressed them very well. We saw in at least one episode that Gilligan enjoys listening to fairy tales and stories, so he'd likely be familiar with the "Old Woman in the Shoe" Mother Goose tale.

I also really enjoyed the conversations between Mary Ann and the Professor, and the Professor and Gilligan. We didn't get to see those match-ups very often on the show. The explorations of the Professor, Gilligan and Ginger's insecurities were interesting and plausible.

One thing - the Professor shouldn't have corrected Gilligan's grammar! "She feels as bad as you do" is correct, and "she feels as badly as you do" is not. "Badly" is an adverb that describes the verb "feels," not the noun "she." So, to say she "feels badly" means there is something wrong with her sense of touch, not that she is experiencing negative emotions. This is a very common grammatical error - probably because it sounds more correct to say "feels badly" than "feels bad."

Wow... professor's book was so romantically touching. I love how you've had him outline every moment with Ginger and him... Amazingly well-written, I'm very intrigued to see that you have in store for these castaways...
