Wow, just wow. This was great, very sad, but well-done. It seems more real than a lot of one-shots. Of course the first, er, confrontation doesn't end happily if the plot of TMP is anything to go by. I think you did well with that. It was strange reading about a drunk Spock, but it didn't seem THAT absurd I guess. I suppose he's a bit more susceptible to it than a full Vulcan so yeah... Anyway...I really liked this, sadness and all ^_^

Reading for a second time. This story is so heartbreaking. Very well written; liked it just as much the second time around.

Do you have a companion piece for this, when Spock returns and faces Jim /and/ the V'ger (sp? I can't remember at the moment. it's 3am), and realizes how cherished emotions really are?

This story was SO good, but the ending was SO sad! I seriously almost broke out crying... I loved how the last line was put seperately and epically away from the rest of it... Truly, great writing. I usually don't enjoy one-shots all that much, but this was really great.

O, shivers. That was awesome. Good call on the title. Evil movie, evil movie. No, but seriously. Well done.

This is story was wonderful; sweet, and beautiful, and sad...I love this kind of thing. You can't find many fics that are this good anymore.

I wanted to say that yours is the first GOOD K/S fic I have read so far...and I have read at least six.

They never go OOC, they never go passed kissing...it's too perfect...it's too THEM for my own good. And so, it made me cry.

Please write more to this! You've got a great concept here and I would love to read more, perhaps Spock and Kirk's separate experiences until they are reunited during TMP. Anyhow, great job and I hope to read more from you in the future!

Ouch, you really know how to hit where it hurts :( Lovely storytelling; you have the present tense down and both Kirk and Spock seem almost completely in character (almost because I'm not sure about Spock getting drunk, although you did pull it off well). Definitely a heart-strings-tugger for the favourites list XD

Angsty and sappy, yes, those words do describe this story, but I enjoyed it very much! (Who doesn't need a dose of those two sometimes?) I'm somewhat cautious around stories where Spock gets drunk, but I actually didn't mind that in your story and I think you used it quite well. All in all, very well done.
