Good job. I understand the Dark wanting to take over Hogwarts, but I can never understand why the Dark Lord doesn’t hold the children hostage, order them to be non-life threatening injuries or stunners only, then hold them hostage. The parents must swear to not fight against them, as must the children. Simple, easy takeover.

I am confused about one thing. How do they get the Headquarters to open back up to them? You said in an earlier chapter that it had locked them out and it was believed that it happened because of it now belonging to Harry. That made sense to me? Oh will these mistakes happens I seen these types of mistakes in other stories. It doesn't change the fact it's a good story.

I liked this story a lot and I really liked Harry and Marvalo's relationship. My only complaint is that in the beginning with the gift of Cotten you made it seem like we would see more of Neville and Luna's friendship. If he remained friends with the Weasley twins they should have been more friendly as well. I felt they were mostly an afterthought. But I loved the story in general

This isn't making any sense.
A few chapters ago you said that Dumbledore knew about Lily and Severus's relationship, that the had urged Lily to leave Severus for the safety of her and her unborn child, encouraged her to marry James and had suggested Harrys name. Dumbledore knew Harry/Ciaran was Severus son. You even hinted that Dd knew Lily was V's daughter.
That already clashed with Lily's statement in the letter that she didn't trust Dd. But now all of a sudden Dd is presented with Snapes unknown son, just after 'Harry' goes missing, and he doesn't suspect a thing?

Sorry, on the surface the story is good, but you need to get your 'facts' sorted out.
